Spooktacular 2021
The Freehold Spooktacular Halloween Parade has returned! On Sunday, October 31st, the streets of Downtown Freehold were filled with Freehold residents and visitors– all thrilled to watch this long-awaited event. For the past two years, the parade was canceled due to rain and the pandemic.
Spooktacular 2021 began at the Freehold Racetrack parking lot on Manalapan Avenue at 1 PM. The parade featured a costume contest, spooky floats, classic vehicles, and much more! The marching bands from all six FRHSD high schools (Colts Neck, Freehold Boro, Freehold Township, Howell, Manalapan, and Marlboro) also participated, with each instrumental section dressed up in their own, unique costumes.Â
Here is a list of what our Marching Colonials went as:
- Drum Majors: Mario and Luigi
- Drum Line: Hawaiian Shirts
- Colorguard: Care Bears
- Flutes: Animal Onesies
- Clarinets: Ghosts
- Trumpets: Skeletons
- Saxophones: Among Us
- Low Brass: Cars
- Front Ensemble: Black Cats
