Another Dear Christmas
Twinkling lights on the tree,
A fire crackling in the hearth,
Families gathered round,
Celebrating the birth of Christ.
The smell of cookies baking,
The sound of carols singing,
Exchanging gifts with loved ones,
These are the traditions we hold dear.
Decorating the house with cheer,
Hanging stockings by the chimney,
Sipping cocoa and sharing tales,
These are the memories we cherish.
As we gather with those we hold dear,
We remember the reason for the season,
The love and joy of the holiday,
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
