The class of 2025 is hosting a Cornhole Tournament. You can sign up in teams of two by next Wednesday the 22nd. We invite students and teachers to try their best in order to win a prize for first place. Even if you don’t deem yourself to be the most athletic person you still have a chance to win a prize for the best team name and t-shirt. 

While there are many rumors of this bean bag games origin it was spotted in cincinnati ohio about 15 years ago.The game gained popularity as an easy portable tailgate toss game and has since been played in NFL parking lots.This game is an easy,quick and fun game that can be played with even one person. The goal of the game is to pitch the bean bag to the board facing opposite of you. A bag that lands on the board is worth 1 point and a bag that falls into the hole is worth 3 points.

So don’t be shy and challenge yourself and a friend in this head to head game of Cornhole on Tuesday February 28th after school at 3:00pm. Your team should arrive at 2:50 pm in the Auxiliary gym. You can bring the money and order form to Mrs. Dwyer in B200 before school between 7-7:25 am or during lunch by February 22nd. Don’t forget, this is also open to teachers so feel free to spread the word.
