The lambent light beaming through the magnolias as they blossom,

The yellow flowers in the basket, as the gentle breeze slowly drifts them away,   

The sleeping cat is Startled by the falling of the white petals on the tarnished soil,       

The birds all cluttered around the bird feeders, commencing their morning meal.

As the sunlight slowly dims its way down

the birds dart among the tangled trees and bushes,

And start their way back home onto a new journey.
