I honestly have way too many favorite artists, but one of my favorite music artists is The Weeknd. The Weeknd started his music career in 2010 and released his first studio album, “Kiss Land” in 2013.

   Most of his music ranges from R&B to pop. There is no doubt to say that he’s popular– he’s the 2nd most streamed artist on Spotify. His release of the album “Beauty Behind The Madness” with the single “Earned It” in 2015 boosted the Weeknd’s fame to a new level. 

   Throughout his music career, he has won multiple music awards, including the Grammy, American Music Award, MTV Video Music Award, and the Juno Award. His most notable achievement was with the release of “Blinding Lights” in 2020 where he racked up 3.9 billion streams and broke the record for the most-streamed song on Spotify. 

   My favorite album from the Weeknd is probably “House of Balloons” or “Beauty Behind The Madness”. If I had to choose one song I would recommend to everyone, I would definitely pick “Wicked Games”.
